Push, And You Pull

Reaching the tipping point happens when you become so self-aware of the obvious that it’s impossible to see the other side.

That’s how I felt these past few months as I pondered whether or not to share my story with the world on camera. If you’ve read my book, ‘Against the Grain,’ you know that sharing isn’t a problem through the written words on a page, but speaking them into a camera in front of a team of people brings a new level of intimidation.

It’s a calling, really, that I’ve gravitated toward as I wrote the script for my upcoming video. I asked myself who this video was for and how I could shine a light on the issues without shining such a bright light on myself.

The answer? I have no idea; all I know is that in order for me to share what I feel called to share, it requires only one thing…vulnerability.

Please stay tuned, as my team, consisting of Derek Laliberte from Disruptur and Zachary Vessels from TopSphere Media, help me produce something that’s been in the works my entire life.

The video is called “Push and You Pull,” and I called it that because I wanted to highlight a passage from my story about the initial introduction I had with Jesus and how he’s carried me through this journey alongside my family.
